My families life has spiraled pretty much out of control all due to bad financial issues.  For us it began when I lost my job this was something that I completely didn’t foresee this happening and well of course it did.  Needless to say losing employment isn’t beneficial for any of us but I haven’t yet rebounded and located another job yet.  This immediately made me realize just how far gone another financial problem I had is.  This problem is credit card debt.  My debt balances are very steep and without income I cannot pay them and will no doubt begin to fall behind on the monthly payments.

We have been searching for a debt solution that will help me out while I am still trying to find new employment.  Most financial experts have been preaching that debt settlement is a good program that will be for consumers in my kind of situation.  The goal of this plan is for the debtor to save cash and become debt free quickly.  This seems exactly like what I might be doing.

It looks as if a debt settlement program is really the only sensible route for us because a bankruptcy hearing would involve me selling my real estate investments and a CCCS plan is something I won’t be able to pay for.  I have talked about this program with my partner and he feels that debt settlement would be a good course of action for us too.  When we get out of credit card debt then we need to work on becoming much more responsible with our money and never get stuck in this horrid trap ever again.
