Beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 7 and ending at 6 a.m., Monday, November 8, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital will complete an important upgrade of its entire telephone system. During this time, the main hospital telephone number (732-828-3000) and patient room phone service will not be available. Cell phone service within the hospital will not be affected. In the event of an emergency, nursing staff can receive incoming calls or place outgoing calls for you and members of your family via hospital-issued cell phones or our back-up in-house telephone system. If at any time you have questions about this planned upgrade, please speak with your unit’s nursing director or supervisor.
